September should be marked as the most important birthday month of the year. Not only this month is full of friends’ birthdays because it’s our Google’s birthday month. Yes, you must have noticed today that Google search engine page is celebrating its 20th birthday on 27th September by sharing sweet animated video including various discoveries happened over the years.   The YouTube video includes various terms and happenings like Y2K, Pluto losing its status as a planet, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s  Royal Wedding, 2012 on the Mayan calendar, and avocado toast and etc. It ends on an international thank you in various languages from Google. Google was incorporated on September 4th, however, it celebrates its birthday every year on September 27th. Founded 20 years ago, the company is marking the occasion with a Google Doodle around the world. The occasion is huge for us as its search engine’s birthday, the almighty that helps to search for anything we want in a preferred language. Google Search is now available in more than 150 languages including Indian languages and over 190 countries. “We ask for anything, it shows us the results, whatever we seek, it helps us to find, whatever we wish, it gets fulfilled in the search results.” – Anonymous Google is our true friend. Who founded Google?

Google was founded by two Ph.D. students of Stanford University: Sergey Brin and Larry Page.

Currently, Sergey Brin is the president of Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc. He has been acknowledged as the 10th richest person in the world. Whereas, Larry Page is now the Chief Executive of Alphabet Inc, the ninth richest person in the world.

How Google was founded?

The Google story begins in 1995 at Stanford University, when Ph.D. students named Sergey Brin and Larry Page, were interested in the mathematical properties of the world wide web. As the project was made the focus of their academic paper, they launched the service an early internet search engine at google.stanford.edu and on September 4, 1998.

Why is it called Google?

Initially, Google name was Backrub. However, in 1996, the duo decided to rename the company name. Both believed that the name should reflect their mission “to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.”  Therefore they decided to rename it as Google….

Why Google is celebrating its bday on 27th Sept?

Google’s actual special day is 4th September but celebrates the birthday on 27th. According to the company, Google was not registered as a business until September 4, 1998. The domain google.com was registered on September 15, 1997. The tech giant is celebrating its 20th birthday with a new Google Doodle marking the special occasion.
