The eCommerce company’s objective behind this step is to on-board top global talent that would help the company in building high-value solutions and developing a high impact growth strategy.
Data scientists hired by Snapdeal so far are from global brands that include Groupon, Google, Yahoo and Amazon. The data sciences team is headed by Nitin Sharma, senior vice president, data sciences.
With the help of this new center the ecommerce brand will now be able to focus more on big-data and advanced analytics for adding to its consumer-centric initiatives. Now, with the help of data driven algorithms, data analytics and predictive modeling, the business strategy of the company will get a new & better shape along with the optimization of operational efficiency.
