By the third month, the revenue covered my monthly mortgage repayment! That’s when I realized the website could be a viable business in itself.  With the money from AdSense, I was able to quit my job in 2003 and concentrate entirely on the website. I’m still adding new articles every day, and have been happy to see AdSense reporting and targeting options become more sophisticated over the years.
